On the one hand, since Chris Forsberg lost the championship to Michael Essa last year, I was happy to see him win it after consistently doing so well this year. However, given the massive push Fredric Aasbo had in the second half of the season, I would've been equally happy to see him take it. When he beat Forsberg in the top 4, I really wanted to see Aasbo go the distance and seal the win for the year—but Daigo is tough to beat at Irwindale, I guess. Best of luck to "The Hammer" next season, and he strikes me as one of the classiest driver's on the field.
Also, being part of the "Ride of Your Life" promotion for Scion is another example of some his phenomenal driving and genuine heart.
